Dr. Nataliya Chukhrova

Dr. Nataliya Chukhrova is the head of the “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Medicine” research group in the Department of Health Economics at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University. Previously, she served as an assistant professor with tenure track in Applied AI and Data Science at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Denmark, within the Faculty of Engineering, with a focus on healthcare. Dr. Chukhrova has published several papers in renowned international journals, particularly in leading journals in the fields of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Statistics & Probability,” such as “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine,” “Statistics in Medicine,” and “Health Care Management Science.” Her research is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), among others, and aims to develop and test new models for the classification, monitoring, and prediction of various health-related processes, such as epidemiological and oncological processes.
