Dominic Henning, M.Sc.

Dominic Henning is a research associate in the Data Science in Medicine working group within the Department of Health Economics. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Informatics from Stralsund University of Applied Sciences and wrote his thesis on the topic “Explainability of AI Algorithms.” He subsequently earned his Master of Science in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, also at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences. His master’s thesis was on “Data Challenges in Fall Detection.” His research interests lie in the development and explanation of AI algorithms, with a special focus on visual data, as well as medical decision-making and the analysis and evaluation of medical data.
