Charleen Wittmack is a student assistant in the Preferences and Decision-Making Research Group within the Department of Health Economics. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Economics at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences and is working on her master’s thesis, which she is writing at the Department of Health Economics and the Clinic for Neonatology and Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine at Mannheim University Medical Center. As part of her thesis, she is working on the development of a digital and standardized data registry for the structured collection, management, and analysis of ECMO data in neonatology and pediatric intensive care. She is particularly interested in the further development of digital structures in healthcare, as well as in medical decision-making and the analysis and evaluation of medical data.
