Selina Mencocco, M.A.

Selina Mencocco completed a Bachelor’s degree in Prevention and Health Promotion (B.A.) at Heidelberg University of Education and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition (M.A.) at IST University of Management Düsseldorf. Her academic focus included research on the role of resistance training in the context of sarcopenia and in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Since August 2026, she has been working as a research associate in the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine at the Center for Preventive Medicine and Digital Health. As part of her work, she contributes to the Coordination Office of the Competence Network for Preventive Medicine Baden-Württemberg as well as the Mobile Research Unit.
