Lucile de Laporte has been studying medicine at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University since the winter semester of 2022 and successfully passed the first part of the medical examination (M1) in August 2024. She is currently in the clinical phase of her medical studies.
In December 2025, she began her work as a doctoral candidate at the Mannheim Institute for Public Health under the supervision of Prof. Dr. phil. Schneider (advisor). As part of her doctoral thesis, she is researching risk awareness, health literacy, and prevention practices regarding climate-related health risks in German recreational sports.
In addition to her studies, she volunteers as an anatomy tutor at the university and is herself passionate about outdoor sports.
