Juliane Mirow

Juliane studied European Public Health in Maastricht and Global Sustainability Sciences in Barcelona, Budapest and Utrecht. She gained professional experience at the German Alliance on Climate Change and Health (KLUG), the European Commission in Brussels and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Her interests and research focus on planetary health, climate change and health and climate adaptation in sports. She has published several scientific, practice-oriented and policy-relevant publications and is actively engaged in various volunteer organisations.

Since July 2026, Juliane has been working in the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine at the Center for Preventive Medicine and Digital Health.
