Matthias Dincher

Matthias Dincher is part of the academic staff of the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine at the Center for Digital Health and Preventive Medicine since April 2023. He did a B.A. in political science and economics at JGU Mainz and the UNSW Sydney, and a M.Sc. in International Economics and Public Policy (MIEPP) at JGU Mainz and the Université de Montpellier. Focus areas were applied statistics and econometrics, amongst others.

From 2019 to 2021, he completed his traineeship as a teacher for vocational schools in Rhineland-Palatinate. In parallel, he conducted research on the impact of school closures during the Corona-related lockdowns at the Chair of Behavioral and Public Economics at the University of Mainz. Since March 2022 he is working for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co.KG.
