Prof. Dr. Falko Sniehotta has been head of the Department of Public Health, Social and Preventive Medicine at the Center for Preventive Medicine and Digital Health (CPD) at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University since January 2021. Previously, he was Professor of Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology at the University of Newcastle and the University of Twente.
Falko Sniehotta is past president of the European Health Psychology Society, associate editor of the Health Psychology Review, and honorary member of the Academy of Social Science, the American Psychological Association, Division 38, and the European Health Psychology Society.
His research aims to develop and test interventions to change health and health care-related behaviors.
