Adele Isber, M.Sc.

Adele is research associate at Prevention of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases within Centre for prevention and Digital Health (CPD) of Medical Faculty Mannheim, Heidelberg University. She brings a diverse background in pharmacy and international health, combined with a passion for using research to impact health policies and improve lives. Informed by her interdisciplinary background, she endeavours to integrate a global perspective into her scientific inquiry.

Her previous research focused on migration and health, particularly in refugee reception centres. This experience further appraised her understanding of health issues in vulnerable populations and the importance of policy in addressing these challenges.

Within her role, she aims to conduct and expand upon the research within the realm of non-communicable diseases and their risk-factors within migratory populations - contributing to innovative interventions and advancements in the field.
