Research

In the department of Experimental Pharmacology at the Medical Faculty Mannheim we look in several areas of G protein-mediated signal transduction in particular. These includes the cardiovascular functions of nucleoside diphosphate kinases (NDPKs), G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR), heterotrimeric G proteins, monomeric GTPases of the Rho family, as well as their regulators guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) and GTPase activating proteins (GAPs). We currently have three teams working on different subjects.
